Your New Personal Assistant| Amazon Alexa: (Amazon Echo)

Today I will tell you about one cool technology, Amazon Alexa. Yupp! It is from Amazon and this technology is currently used in a device Amazon Echo. Alexa is an Intelligent Personal Assistant develop for Voice interaction, music playback, making To-Do lists, setting alarms, playing audio books, and providing weather report, traffic, and other real time information such as news. Alexa can also control several smart devices using itself as a home automation system.



Amazon Echo is available in a wider range of finishes and different model type and size. There is a series of fabric-covered speakers, in charcoal, grey or sandstone color options. Its have attractive finish that gives the Echo   high-end speaker look and you get a choice of oak or walnut wood finishes, plus it also comes in silver color. Around the back, there is a power input and a 3.5mm audio output, so that you can hook up the Echo to an external speaker. Alternatively, you can use the built-in Bluetooth.



Amazon Echo will connect through smart phone App which is available in Google play and Apple App store. Using this App you can control the functions of Alexa-enabled device. Alexa offers weather reports provided by AccuWeather and news provided by TuneIn from a variety of sources including local radio stations also can play music from user’s Amazon Music account, Apple Music and Google Play Music. Alexa can manage voice-controlled alarms, timers, shopping and to-do lists, and can access Wikipedia articles.



Alexa also helps you for ordering takeout food from Domino’s Pizza, Grubhub, Pizza Hut etc. You have need to say “Alexa, open Domino's and place my EasyOrder” to kick off your pizza delivery request.

Amazon Echo is available on Online Shopping with decent price and it will really helpful as your new assistant.
